Shopping for Antiques on the North Fork of Long Island

Antiquing on Greenport, Long Island is a favorite pastime of guests while visiting the Shorecrest Bed and Breakfast. There are many types of antique stores and beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.  With that said, we wanted to share with you a sampling of the local antique shops of Greenport and Southold, Long Island area.    

Jan Davis Antiques – specializing on antique and collectible dolls; 

Furniture Shop Antiques – noted for their antique furniture; 

Lydia’s Antiques – specializing in restored antiques and features a hugh selection of stained glass, Tiffany Shades, and estate jewelry; 

Mixed Bag Antiques – you guess it…an eclectic mix of antiques; 

The Shearer Shop – folk art and consignment items; 

Beall & Bell – mom and pop antique store with a little something for everyone; 

Kapell’s Antiques – whaling and marine items, early tools, pottery, and old books.
