Gallery Walk in Greenport on the North Fork of Long Island

November 6th, 2009 by Marilyn Marks

The last Greenport Gallery Walk of the 2009 season will happen on Saturday, November 21st at 6 P.M.   Visit Greenport for an evening of gallery hopping, gallery talks and refreshments.   Gallery Walks are a wonderful way to spend an evening with family, friends, or a night on the town with the girls!  The whole village comes alive with restaurants and shops staying open late and a festive feeling radiates from all involved.

Eight of Greenport’s finest galleries including Siren’s Song, the Light Registry, Atellier Fine Art, Gallery M, Artist’s Gallery, South Street Gallery, and deCordova Studio will participate in the Gallery Walk.  Each gallery will host a featured artist and demonstrations and presentations will be done according to the artists’ specialty.  Visitors to the galleries will be sure to enjoy a variety of sculpture, computer graphics, painting, watercolors, and crafts

Siren’s Song Gallery will feature local artist S. Neil Fujita who is well known for his graphic design for the “God Father” and “In Cold Blood”.  He is a very special renaissance man and the gallery will be displaying 10 of his recent paintings.  This is just a sampling of what the local galleries will have to offer visitors.

Sounds like an evening of fun to me!
