Eat, Drink & Be Sparkling: Pairings at Sparkling Pointe

Every fall, Sparkling Pointe in Southold holds a pairing series, matching their sparkling wines with delicious treats. This year the series runs from November 17 through December 29, one each weekend. Note: 3 day advanced booking is required. In order, the choices are:
Nov. 17: DONUTS FOR GROWNUPS: Tasting flight of three wines paired with a series of three mini donuts from North Fork Donut Company.
Nov. 24: CHARCUTERIE & CHEESE: Tasting flight of three wines paired with a selection of farm-made charcuterie and cheese.
Dec. 1: COMFORT FOOD: Glass of Cuvée Carnaval Blancs paired with fried chicken, biscuit, honey butter.
Dec. 8: BLACK TRUFFLES & BUBBLY: Glass of Blanc de Blancs (poured from Magnum) paired with truffle tasting plate.
Dec. 15: BUBBLES & BRUNCH: Glass of Brut paired with brunch tasting plate.
Dec. 22: POMMES FRITES: Tasting flight of three wines paired with three selections of flavored fries
Dec. 29: OYSTERS & CAVIAR: Prestige cuvée tasting flight of three wines paired with raw bar/oysters/caviar selection.
