Tour Historic Buildings on the Cutchogue Village Green

September 17 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 1:00pm on Monday, repeating until October 6, 2018

Southold Town is old–over 375 years old–and is home to many historic buildings.

Every Monday (and Saturday and Sunday) you can tour the historic buildings cared for by the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council, which are all placed around the Village Green. The collection includes The Old House, which is nearly as old as Southold, the Old Schoolhouse, which dates to about 1840, the Red Barn, from about 1865, and the Wickham Farmhouse, from the 1700s. The Carriage House, from the late 1800s, serves as a gift shop and info center.

Beyond touring these lovely buildings and learning their history, consider coming to some of the other events hosted by the Council. A particular standout is an antique car show in October, this year framed as showing the evolution of the automobile and scheduled for October 7.
