This property consists of both a two bedroom waterfront cottage and detached studio located on park like grounds overlooking Shelter Bay and steps from a sandy beach. The studio is newly renovated, private, spacious self catering with queen bed, kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave, seating area with desk, TV and bathroom with shower. Floor to ceiling west facing windows open onto private patio overlooking lawns and inlet of Shelter bay.

The two bedroom cottage has a queen bed in one room, a twin in the other bedroom and is spacious enough to allow for additional temporary sleeping if needed. There is a comfy living room with tv at the front of the house, a fully equipped kitchen and a large sunny den overlooking lawns and water. The house is beautifully decorated with unique and interesting vintage pieces but it is the views, sunsets and tranquil setting that makes this home such a restful retreat.

Both properties are rented together during the months of July and August on a weekly basis and the Studio is available the rest of the year. The location on the North Fork is one of the best, with wide sandy beach overlooking Shelter Bay just steps away, and only a five minute drive to Greenport and Southold villages. Shorecrest BnB concierge services are available to guests of the Southold inlet studio including winery discount card to 24 local wineries, maps and guides.

Average rates:

Cottage and Studio together – July and August – $3400-$3800 weekly

Studio only – September through June – $295 – $425 per night, depending no season and length of stay, 3 night minimum .
